2023 Nissan Kicks: What We Know So Far

2023 Nissan Kicks: What We Know So Far – Nissan Kicks will probably get an update for 2023, and while Nissan has not confirmed any changes to the US version, the recently updated global version kicks in giving us an idea of what will happen on our coast.

This entry-level crossover arrives in America for the 2018 model year, and this marks a mid-cycle refresh, which means getting style tweaks and maybe some new features.

We are confident that the new look you see here will be the same as the one found in the US Market 2021 Nissan Kicks which should arrive soon. It has a slimmer headlight, a larger grille, and a different backlight, along with a new wheel design. We hope the interior of the U.S. model will benefit from an updated infotainment screen and possibly some new trim options.

2023 Nissan Kicks Electric Vehicle Concept

They can be powered by batteries, but also by hydrogen in fuel cell electric vehicles, for example. The Chevy Volt will be an EV if the Voltec system does not also rely on combustion engines to move cars. Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV ticks the same box.

But can you refer to the car as an EV without the option to connect it to a power outlet? In other words, charging with just fuel? This is what Nissan will ask for to a larger audience with kicks e-Power, which will debut in Thailand on March 19.

We don’t know how customers treat their e-Power cars in Japan – our readers there can tell us more about it – but the fact is that Nissan’s e-Power will begin its global expansion with Kicks, a car that has been a success since being presented in Brazil back in July 2016. Will receive his first restyling, he will also get e-Power technology.

Nissan already sells its vehicles while Obrist has licensed HyperHybrid technology to “at least one major automotive player, and the start of mass production could be achieved in 2023 or 2024.”

The second is that Nissan chose a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine that it had made to become a generator, for cost reasons. Obrist created an altogether new combustion engine without vibration and improved fuel efficiency to its concept.

Nissan is not only betting on e-Power kicks for Thailand and Asia but also for Latin America. The car is currently manufactured in Brazil, and the Brazilian edition of Motor1.com states it will be sold there in 2021 with a flexible fuel engine.

In other words, it will also be able to burn renewable fuels to get electricity, without increasing carbon emissions, one of the main criticisms people have for plug-in hybrids, for example. Obrist engines will also be able to use renewable fuels but will be refined for each.

2023 Nissan Kicks Price

Considering Kicks are also sold in the U.S. with a starting price of $18,870 to $21,120, e-Power can quickly become the most affordable EV in the U.S.

With a smaller battery pack than the Leaf, e-Power technology adds 17 percent to the cost of similarly equipped versions of ICE. We could then see Kicks e-Power in the US for $22,077 in entry-level derivatives and $24,710 for the most expensive. If the federal tax credit also applies to kicks e-Power, we could see its price drop to $14,577.

That’s not the only way Kicks e-Power will save money. Note e-Power can run 87.5 mpg – or 2.69 l/100 km. With today’s car infrastructure, fuel consumption such as motorcycles will also allow much lower emissions.
