New 2022 Nissan 400Z Price, Release Date

New 2022 Nissan 400Z Price, Release Date – The 2022 Nissan 400Z rendering already has us excited about the upcoming Nissan Z cars. The latter has been confirmed in the video recently showing the future of the Nissan product lineup, and unless something very bad happens on Nissan there will be a next-generation Nissan Z.

That’s what we know. What we do not know is when it will happen, what will actually be called, what would power it, and what it would look like. Cue the rumor Mill. 2022 Nissan Z seems to be going into production in September 2021 as one of the last new or updated models to come into a new Nissan strategy.

Nissan is probably in trouble at the moment, but there is a new Z sign still on the agenda although the sports car will not actually move the needle in terms of sales.

The company recently updated the trademark “Z ” logo to go along with the revised badge of the company, which leads us to believe its replacement to the high aging 370Z rankings on the list of priorities. While that may not sound like a wise business idea considering the relatively low volume of Z properties, it would help improve the image of Nissan’s heavily affected in recent years.

Rumored to be called 400Z, the new rear-wheel-drive Coupe is expected to be out within 12 months, although it may be pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic. While the report says the design will take after the Datsun 240Z, at the end of the day, we still do not know whether it is true or how retro influences will be adapted to the modern era.

2022 Nissan 400Z Engine

As for its name, the 400Z moniker has not been confirmed by Nissan, but it is a general consensus now. Power can be derived from the 3.0-liter turbocharged V-6 which empowers the Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400. The engine delivers 400 horsepower and 350 pound-foot torque.

As far as longer drivetrain runs, there are at least three scenarios to consider. Firstly, Nissan could use a 2.0-liter four-cylinder of Mercedes-Benz. The turbocharged, 3.0-liter V-6 of Infiniti Q60 is also an option, especially for the topping-range version.

But Nissan is also considering a lightweight hybrid setup, which can also come from Mercedes-Benz. Of course, the NISMO variants of the beefed-up will definitely feature a more robust version of the V-6 engine, one that can deliver up to 500 horsepower.

2022 Nissan 400Z Design

As for the design, a good video teaser shows the typical double boomerang LED design around the headlamps. We also noticed that the traditional Z design with a long hood and a short rear overhang is maintained.

Maxim Shershnev has an idea that we can get behind, imagining 400Z down the road and keeping track of configurations with a retro-futuristic look and generous use of carbon fibers. Of course, the version developed for more radical circuits as it proposed the bulging arch wheel and Aero aggressive, not to mention throwing in a roll cage and replacing the side glass with polycarbonate for weight shaving.

It goes without saying this is just a render fan and more along with a thinking wishful line than something Nissan will actually build, but with the company that coy on the details regarding the future of Z, we are pleased to see the independent artists take a stab at imagining the long-late sports car.

We definitely don’t mind seeing this slim RWD machine at the Nissan dealers, but with the total zero spy shots at the moment, it’s hard to imagine how the real thing looks.

As long as the recent report is accurate, 400Z is said to get the Twin-Turbo 3.0-liter V6 from Infiniti Q60 and Ride-on an adaptation of the underlying platform of the luxury Coupe.

Nissan reportedly sold 370Z successor with both manual and automatic transmissions, with engines both for 400 horsepower (298 kilowatts) and 350 pound-feet (475 Newton-meter) at Q60 Red Sport.
