2025 Nissan GTR R36 With Aggressive-Looking Styling

2025 Nissan GTR R36

The Nissan GT-R and GT-R Nismo have been given a facelift for the Japanese market.

Both versions retain the 3.8-liter V6 engine and the same power output; however, the styling has been adjusted, and the suspension has been revised for additional refinements.

Updates to the R35 Nissan GT-R might keep it looking fresh, but the new R36 GT-R is expected to improve performance.

With that in mind, this exclusive render imagines what the next supercars will look like.

New Nissan GT-R R36 Engine

Although it has been in use since 2007, it is estimated that the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine from the R35 will be brought to the R36. In the Nismo GT-R tune, it produces 600hp.

However, considering emissions regulations, Nissan will likely use electrification to improve performance.

It will likely use a single motor from the Nissan Ariya EV SUV. Combined with the V6, you’re looking at over 800hp of potential.

With the help of the hybrid, the R36 GT-R can even eliminate the R35’s intelligent yet extremely complicated all-wheel drive system. Instead, it could use an engine that drives the rear wheels and an electric motor that drives the front exclusively.

2025 Nissan GTR R36 Style

The body resembles the current GT-R but undergoes a thicker, angular transformation. We particularly liked the vents in the front wheel arches, but the drama improved greatly at the rear.

Around the rear, the lights are LEDs in a familiar format, with a large rear reminiscent of the current GT-R.

However, it looks angular, even truncated, with a quad exhaust indicating that this is a gasoline-powered monster.

Let’s hope that if and when the Japanese brand unveils the next Nissan GT-R R36, it will give fans the engine and design worthy of the legendary JDM sports car.

As we have seen, rumors are stating that the GT-R will return for the next round as a full-electric model, a car that may carry the Nissan R36 GT-R signage, although no official information has yet been released.

The next GT-R may be electric, as most iconic signage will be hybrid, fully electric, or soon discontinued to pave the way for new models.

2025 Nissan GTR R36 Price

There is currently no official price information available for the 2025 Nissan GT-R R36 as it has not yet been released.

However, based on previous speculations and price trends, it is expected to cost much more than the current model, with a possible price tag of around £150,000.
