2023 Nissan Rogue: New Subcompact Crossover Model
2023 Nissan Rogue – The new generation Nissan Rogue brings a new look to this compact crossover, including a boxier front end, bolder grille, striking LED lighting, and more.
No one can call this an evolutionary redesign, and we expect this dramatic new look to remain in Rogue 2023.
The interior of the new generation Rogue is much softer but still stylish. These include a flat-bottom steering wheel, a gloss black middle stack bezel, a curved dashboard, and other sharp design cues.

It gets some narrowed colors, faux leather upholstery on the dashboard, and semi-aniline leather upholstery layered in higher trim, giving it a more luxurious look. We hope this design doesn’t change in Rogue 2023.
Technology side, Rogue 2022 comes standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, an 8-inch touchscreen, and more.
Optionally, buyers can add navigation, adaptive cruise control, Wi-Fi, two rear USB ports, a 360-degree camera, a 9-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a 10.8-inch head-up display, wireless charging, and Apple CarPlay, and more. We hope this stays the same in Rogue 2023.
The new generation Rogue comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 181 horsepower and 181 pound-feet torque.
This power flows through a continuously variable transmission and out forward or fourth wheel. We expect this powertrain to stay the same in Rogue 2023.
Like most new Nissan models, Rogue currently comes standard with a long list of safety technologies, including rear door warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, active lane control, automatic high beam, blind-spot monitor with rear traffic warning automatic rear braking.
We expect these standard safety features to remain the same in Rogue 2023.
2023 Nissan Rogue Redesign
Hoping to be fully redesigned for 2023, Nissan rogue has kept consumers interested in its comfortable ride, spacious cabin, and good fuel economy.
However, that hasn’t been enough to offset the intense competition in the crowded compact SUV segment.
Nissan’s larger SUV offers more space, better performance, and better interior features. In fact, Rogue can’t compete in crane capacity, technology options, and seating space.
2023 Nissan Rogue Safety
The Nissan Rogue has a good overall safety rating of four stars from NHTSA. In fact, Rogue is essentially on par with its competitors in terms of safety: It receives a five-star rating in all side collision tests and four stars in rollover collision testing.
However, the frontal collision test left something to be desired. Although the front driver side gets a four-star rating, the front passenger side only gets two stars. This lowered the crash test score to 3 stars.
This could be a problem for Nissan, as consumers can choose similar vehicles – such as the Toyota RAV4 or Honda CR-V – that have a lower risk of passenger injury in the event of an accident.
2023 Nissan Rogue Features
Standard features include a keyless entry remote, a 60/40 split-folding rear seat, and an 8.0-inch touchscreen display. Android Auto also comes standard, although Apple CarPlay doesn’t.
Rogue has quite a lot of driver assistance technology. These include cruise control, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward collision alerts, lane departure alerts, and rear traffic alerts. Mechanical brake restraint, hill start assistance, and active ride control are also standard features.
A large number of advanced safety equipment that becomes the standard in this vehicle is also enjoyable. Once Nissan figured out what to do with the und updated version, there was no reason not to give this new Rogue a chance.
Nissan has stepped up its game in the standard equipment department. According to Nissan’s website, each Rogue will be equipped with various features such as the Standard Safety Shield® 360 and Apple CarPlay integration®.
Each crossover will utilize 181 horses with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. The S base model trim has 17-inch rims, a rear door sign, rear air vents, an eight-inch touchscreen, and two USB ports.
Each Nissan Rogue comes with a powerful driver assistance feature menu as part of the Nissan Standard Safety Shield®.
While many other automakers only offer this assistance on higher trims, Nissan ensures every Rogue driver has a front collision warning, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear traffic warning, automatic rear braking, and a rear passenger safe exit system.
2023 Nissan Rogue Interior
Is a Nissan Rogue will Hybrid
The new 2023 Nissan Rogue Hybrid drives the Renault-Nissan CMF-C platform, supporting the recently disclosed Rogue and Mitsubishi Outlander.
It’s 1.4 inches longer than the old model as a whole, with a wheelbase 0.8 inches longer, and the new Nissan Rogue Qashqai Hybrid 2023 is also slightly taller and broader.
Space for rear passengers has increased, there is more cargo space, and the back door is now open up to 90 degrees.
It’s available with 20-inch wheels for the first time, and models with those wheels (or AWD) get multilink rear suspension settings. As a result, Nissan says the new Nissan Rogue Qashqai Hybrid 2023 is lighter, stiffer, and more fun to drive than the old one.
Two powertrains will be available in Europe at first. The base engine is a 1.3-liter four-cylinder turbocharger with a standard lightweight hybrid system, available with 138 or 156 horsepower, six-speed manual or CVT, and front or all-wheel drive.
More interesting is the E-Power model, which pairs a 1.5-liter gas engine with an electric motor. As in cars such as the Chevy Volt, the engine generates extraordinary power for electric motors, with the front wheels driven only by electricity.
This setting makes 187 hp, and Nissan says it delivers the EV characteristics of the Nissan Rogue Qashqai Hybrid 2023 without the need for charging – it even has a single pedal drive-through regenerative braking.
The Nissan Rogue Qashqai Hybrid 2023 is also available with Nissan’s ProPilot driver assistance system.
Adaptive cruise control has a stop-and-go function and uses navigation data and speed limit info to adjust the speed accordingly, both in straight lines and around narrow bends and exits.
The 2023 Nissan Rogue Qashqai Hybrid also has lane guard assistance, rear traffic alerts, automatic emergency braking that can now detect two cars in front, and a “wing protection” system that sounds like a better parking sensor.
As I said at the top of the story, we don’t yet know which of the powertrains and features the new 2023 Nissan Rogue Qashqai Hybrid will make its way to Rogue Sport in our US market.
It may not be possible that E-Power models and more exciting options such as massage chairs and HUD will be available here, but we will still be hoping.
The 2023 Nissan Rogue Qashqai Hybrid will reach dealers in Europe in a few months, and ROGUE Sports USA will debut in the first half of this year.

2023 Nissan Rogue Release Date and Price
There is no official sales date for the 2023 Nissan Rogue, but we estimate the arrival of summer or fall 2022 based on the previous release schedule.
Pricing is also not available. However, as a built-in vehicle, we estimate the price will remain close to the current MSRP model of $26,745 to $37,925 (including destination costs).
2022 Nissan Rogue Sport
The Nissan Rogue Sport is set to follow its larger sibling redesign in the footsteps, with a new version likely to arrive for the 2022 model year.
We have now got our first look at the new Rogue Sports thanks to Nissan’s European arm, which has shown the exterior and interior of the Qashqai SUV, which is closely related.
The Qashqai seen here looks like Rogue 2021 with slightly taken stitches, as the front end has the same headlight settings, and the back has a more negotiating greenhouse.
The new Rogue Sport will likely continue to be at the larger end of the subcompact SUV segment, fitting above the entry-level Kick and below the compact Rogue.
Nissan is talking about the e-Power Qashqai and a 12-volt hybrid drivetrain for the European market.
Still, we anticipate rogue sport will continue with more conventional gasoline engines in the U.S. Naturally aspired 2.0-liter or 2.5-liter inline-four engines are the most likely option, paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) front-drive or all wheels — nothing revolutionary under the skin here.

Although other markets will accept hybridized models, Rogue Sports USA will likely use four gasoline-powered cylinders.
We anticipate Nissan will pair this engine exclusively to an automatic transmission (CVT) that constantly varies but offers buyers the option of front-drive or all wheels.

Rogue Sport’s new cab looks thoroughly updated, with a more charity-shaped dashboard, a flat wooded steering wheel, and a tablet-style infotainment display.
The European market model photos likely represent the top-spec S.L. trim and feature blanket leather upholstery, seam dashboards and door panels, and digital gauge displays.
2022 Nissan Rogue Sport Price
Nissan has not released any price or trim level information for the 2022 model, but we look forward to seeing the S, S.V., and S.L. Rogue Sport trims coming out updated.
Prices should remain relatively flat as well, with the base model starting at about $25,000.
